Repeat ad Nauseum
This song (from the Snakes on a Plane soundtrack, of all places...) has been stuck in my head on and off for weeks. Maybe blogging about it will force it out. It's got a catchy beat, and I like the guy's politics, so it could be worse all things considered. I could say a lot of things about it, but it would mostly be restating the sentiments already found in the words.
Be who you are, nothing more, nothing less.
Let the beauty that you love be the very best.
Sing praises to the highest with your feet on the ground,
and reach for your brother with the words that you sound.
Don't let mistakes be so monumental.
Don't let your love be so confidential.
Don't let your mind be so darn judgmental
and please let your heart be more influential.
Be thankful for all the spirit provides,
thankful for all you see without eyes
and give thanks to the music that keeps us alive.
