Stacy's Blog Challenge, round II
Feeling uninspired to come up with more interesting content, I'm falling back on another one of Cowtown Stacy's blog challenges. This week is "Fill in the Blanks."
1. My current favorite song is: Barenaked Ladies and Sara McLachlan's rendition of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
2. The last book I read was: My evil Probability textbook.
3. The last book I bought was: The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory
4. The last cd I bought was: Years ago. The last ALBUM I bought, however, was a dual purchase of an audio book of David Sedaris' Holidays on Ice and Sarah McLachlan's Wintersong
5. Another CD I wanted but didn't buy is: the Muppets: a Green and Red Christmas album
6. Right now, I'm wearing: my favorite Dansko clogs, my favorite Eddie Bauer jeans (thanks Dar!), and my favorite Gap sweater (hooded, black, with a large white snowflake on the front). It's a cozy favorites kinda day.
7. The last gift I bought was: 1/4 pound of mixed dark chocolates from a local mom 'n pop candy store as a graduation gift for my brilliant boyfriend who finished his last class ever, and therefore his Master's, last week (I'm only a little jealous...) :)
8. The last time I laughed heartily and loudly: Last night, talking to Matt. It happens enough that I can't even remember what the laughing was about. This was possibly the moment he learned that I own a sweater with a giant snowflake on it and classified it as a Holiday Sweater in the same category as sweaters with reindeer and glitter on them. Hmph.
9. My favorite holiday ornament is: The gumball machine full of little colored "gumballs" that rattle around. Or possibly my large collection of mouse ornaments that Alex always hangs all his cat ornaments menacingly near...
10. My house smells like: Bath and Body works Holiday Spice wallflower in my room, Bath and Body Works Candy Canes Gone Wild body wash in the bathroom, and hot chocolate and coffee everywhere else because Sheila and I are living on those two things until finals are over.
11. The first thing on my to-do list tomorrow is: Go over notes for Math final on Wednesday.
12. If I could sit on Santa's lap and believe that he'd bring me whatever toy I wished for, I'd ask for: Do I even need to mention this? A new computer... :)
13. If I could holiday shop in ONE store, all expenses paid, I'd shop at: IKEA!
14. If an angel alighted on my doorstep today and said, "I'm here to grant a Christmas wish," I'd wish for: gathering all my friends from their newly scattered post-graduation locations for an all-out, no-strings-attached (read: don't have to take time off work!) New Year's party. I miss you guys...
15. When I see a bell ringer while out shopping, I: try not to look him in the eye. The SAME GUY is always outside the store next to my office, and always wishes me well. I can't afford to stop and give him money every time I walk by (we go there for lunch more often than not), but he still makes me feel guilty and uncharitable.

I shared!
I meant jealous of the "finished his last class ever" bit, ya goof.
The chocolate...I'd just steal. What's that they say? All's fair in chocolate and war?
